  • Phlebotomy (drawing blood)
  • Advanced phlebotomy draws (butterfly, hands and feet)
  • Blood pressure measurement
  • Ear syringing
  • Injections and immunisations
  • Travel vaccinations and advice
  • Cervical screening
  • Baby immunisations
  • Spirometry and dopplers
  • Chronic disease monitoring
  • Dressings and wound care
  • ECGs
  • Suture and stitch removal
  • NHS health checks
  • Flu and nasal flu vaccinations
  • Pneumonia, B12 and shingles immunisations
  • INR (warfarin check)
  • Fitting and removal of 24 hour blood pressure monitors
  • Hypertension and COPD checks
  • Diabetic Checks with foot exam
  • Non-diabetic hyperglycaemia (pre-diabetes) referrals

Healthcare assistants

Our healthcare assistant, supports the practice nurse with daily work and carries out tasks such as:

  • ECGs
  • Suture and stitch removal
  • NHS health checks

  • Hypertension and COPD checks
  • Diabetic checks
